We have had two daughters who have stayed overnight in the Brantford General Hospital for anywhere from 3-8 days. Our one child had severe pneumonia and our other had a temperature that kept spiking. What we thought was very thoughtful was that someone had donated little baggies full of stuff to keep the children's mind occupied while in the hospital. These were given to the children as soon as they were settled in their assigned room.  My wife and I agreed that this was something we were going to donate in the future noticing how much it changed our children's focus.  Each bag has in it a stuffed animal, coloring book and crayons, 2 pencils, sharpener, eraser, scrap book, deck of cards, tooth brush and tooth paste.
